Heritage Water Trail

The Middle Grand River Heritage Water Trail Guidebook is sold out.

The Guidebook was produced in 2015, and offered an app linked to GIS hosted by MSU's Institute of Water Research, along with the information below.

 Put-ins, take-outs, hazards

• Six featured trips to make planning easy

• Photos of important access sites

• Detailed information about all of the access sites

• Maps with QR codes that linked each map to the MGROW website

• QR codes provided additional information on sites to visit along the water trail.

The app was available on Google Play Store. As one travelled downstream on the Grand River, the app automatically vibrated as one neared either a historical site, access point, or river hazard. It also displayed information about that site on your screen. Additional funding would allow MGROW to reprint the map and host the app once again, use Contact Us if you'd like to help!

MGROW has produced a new printed map of the Middle Grand River Water Trail. Click here to view it!
